BASIL E. FRANKWEILER. The subject matter (use of the Thorne Rooms) was quite interesting. The ending was satisfying but definitely left an opening for a sequel. I just read this book; it is a blend of THE INDIAN IN THE CUPBOARD, THE MAGIC TREE HOUSE, and FROM THE MIXED-UP FILES OF MRS. BASIL E. FRANKWEILER.
