That's awesome! I know Night-Time was originally an adult book, but (like THE LIFE OF PI) it seems to have been "turned into" a teen book. It was on the reading list of almost every area high school by the time I moved away from my bookselling job. I remember being surprised the first time a teen came in and asked for it for school, because I'd read it as an "adult" book. It really is a hard call, though, which is why I'm thinking MARCELO ended up at Scholastic. Thanks for the nomination! That’s awesome!

I know Night-Time was originally an adult book, but (like THE LIFE OF PI) it seems to have been “turned into” a teen book. It was on the reading list of almost every area high school by the time I moved away from my bookselling job. I remember being surprised the first time a teen came in and asked for it for school, because I’d read it as an “adult” book. It really is a hard call, though, which is why I’m thinking MARCELO ended up at Scholastic.
